GRATEFUL
I recently had a total knee replacement. I would like to say '"THANK YOU" Gail for the 10 wonderful years of Pilates. Having a strong core made the recovery very smooth. I was able to get in and out of bed and chairs easily from day 1 post operative. I was able to walk without using the walker or crutches. The breath and being able to "let go" helped tremendously when dealing with the pain and the exercise. After 6 weeks post operative I had exceeded all the expectation I made for my recovery and by 3 months I will be back in the studio. Anyone planning to get into shape prior to surgery, Pilates is the way to go.

Hi Gail - I'm really enjoying your classes.... as you know I've done a "little" bit of Pilates before, but those classes were nothing like yours! I love that you add a spiritual element to the classes - not to mention an education of the body and how it works. It is a bit of a challenge for me to fit everything in! But with juggling and time management I will make it work!
I leave your class feeling inspired, motivated, relaxed.... not to mention stronger and taller! You really know what you're doing and your passion is very evident to see.
Your words this morning made me think of a quote by Deepak Chopra, "Every cell in your body is eavesdropping on your thoughts"

I thought about the possibility of a second class with you and if you are willing, I think we should do it. My body is LOVING pilates, my feet thank me every morning for finally relaxing them through out the day. My gums thank me for not brushing the crap out of them but for a more gentle, relaxed approach to teeth brushing, and my shoulders have joyasms as the tension is being drawn out of them and flexibility seems to have slightly improved. My tummy is in a state of shock as it’s been so long since it’s been truly used and my thighs and butt are thrilled to be able to take a much needed break while I focus on using other muscles. Overall I just simply feel great.
Plus I really do want my mind to connect with my body and to finally find peace within myself for the rest of my life.

I’m a personal trainer and I find the way Gail teaches is wonderful. She knows a lot about the human body and how the muscles work. She adds a whole real life element to her classes. She reminds us to practice what we’ve learned thoughout the week so her class carries over until the next one. Her classes are so fulfilling. You actually get that mind/muscle connection which really helps. It’s not like going to work out. You realize quickly that this is more than an exercise class; it’s complete mind, body and spirit workout. She practices what she preaches. She’s a real spunky woman, that’s for sure.

I love going to Inside Out. Gail is a very well rounded instructor and is continually learning and passing that on to us. Her focus on body, mind and spirit gives a well rounded teaching. No matter what your background; Gail is respectful and knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure we are all doing it correctly. This is different from other workouts. This is full body fitness as well as full body well being. My back issues are much better and I’m relieved from the pain. I’m stronger now from head to toe.

I've tried Yoga before and gone to the gym but I must admit this is the first and only thing I’ve enjoyed going back to and want to go back to. I noticed the difference within the first month of going which made me want to do more.
I don’t think that I have to go I know I want to go! I love the way the classes are scheduled. It is two hours a week, but the way Gail teaches, I remember what she has said throughout the week. I’m more aware of how I am standing or sitting or carrying things. Even my three year old has started to mimic me. When I go in to change the baby’s diapers she’ll say ‘you do that mom and I’ll do my Pilates.’ Gail is a very positive, nurturing person. Being in that environment makes you want to go back. The bonus is that my pants are all a bit looser and I feel stronger.

I’ve been going to Inside Out Pilates for three years. Gail is always cheery, positive, inspirational and knowledgeable. She keeps the class interesting and is always introducing new equipment to us. She takes the time to go over the moves thoroughly and gently guides us through them. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in mind, body and spirit wellness.

I had a hip replacement a few years ago and started Pilates a few months later. It has really strengthened my hip. I would recommend Pilates to everybody who has had a hip replacement as it has worked so well for me. I highly recommend anyone who needs to get back into shape to take Gail’s classes. What can I say “It’s just that good!” She’s an excellent source for those inspired to get into or stay in great shape.

Since I've been going to Inside Out, I find my body is more
flexible and I’m a lot stronger. It is important as you get older to build up your muscles and be able to maintain a strong core and good balance. I highly recommend Inside Out Pilates to women of any age.
